See what your waitlist is worth before you reorder
Every sold-out variant gets a notify-me button. StockWait emails those shoppers the moment it is back, and prices the queue at what each of them saw — so the restock decision has a number on it.
Free plan, 50 alerts a month. No card to start.
What it does
Six things, and it tries to be excellent at all six rather than adequate at twenty.
Captures the demand
A notify-me button on any sold-out variant. No cookies, no trackers, and it renders before your theme finishes loading.
Alerts on the real restock
Inventory is summed across every location you sell from, so a variant counts as back when it is genuinely buyable — not when one warehouse ticks over.
Waits for a real restock
A minimum-quantity threshold stops three units mailing four thousand people and sending most of them to a sold-out page.
Prices the waiting list
Every waiting shopper is valued at the price they saw, so repricing later does not distort the figure. Captured demand, not a forecast.
Ranks what to restock
Sorted by what the queue is worth rather than how long it is. A hundred people waiting on a $9 item is not the same as twelve on a $400 one.
Shows what it recovered
Orders are matched back to the alert that caused them by line item, never by whole order value — so the number survives being checked.
Numbers we will not inflate
Recovered revenue counts the line item that was restocked, not the order it arrived in. Attributing a $340 basket to a $12 restocked item would make the headline figure bigger and make it worthless the first time you checked it against your own analytics.
It also requires the shopper to have clicked the alert, inside a 72-hour window, on that exact variant. A guest checkout under a different address never matches. The figure is a deliberate undercount, and we would rather say so here than have you find out in a reconciliation.
Pricing
Billed through Shopify, in your store currency. Alerts count people notified, not messages sent.

Boring in the right places
A duplicate “it’s back!” email is a complaint and a missed one is a lost customer, so the sending path is the part we are strictest about. Alerts are deduplicated across locations, rate-limited per variant, capped per day, and every decision — including the ones that chose not to send — is recorded and shown to you, because “why didn’t my customers get an email?” deserves an answer rather than a shrug.
The storefront widget adds no cookies, no local storage, and no third-party scripts to your theme. See the privacy policy for the full data map, or the data processing agreement if your compliance review needs one.
